Anwer Khan Modern Medical College started its journey in 2008

January 2009 : First batch of student admitted in MBBS Course.

January 2014 : 2 foreign student from India got admitted in Anwer Khan Modern Medical College.

January 2015 : 36 foreign student from Nepal, India, USA got admitted in foreign quota.

January 2015 : Anwer Khan Modern Medical College 2nd batch students pass the final professional MBBS exam under University of Dhaka with a record pass percentage of 96.5%, highest among all government and private medical colleges under University of Dhaka.

February 2015 : AKMMC is listed in International Medical Education Directory (IMED) since February 2015. Faimer School ID: F0002856.

All teachers, faculty members of Anwer Khan Modern Medical College numbering 145 (Professor 48, Associate Professor 15, Assistant Professor 23, Lecturer 48, Registrar 11) are full time. There is no part time staff in Anwer Khan Modern Medical

AKMMC is approved by Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of Peoples Republic of Bangladesh.

AKMMC is affiliated and run its academic course as per guide line of University of Dhaka.

AKMMC is recognized by BMDC, Medical Council of India (MCI), Nepal Medical Council (NMC) & World Health Organization (WHO).
